The lume looks kind of "shiny"?...as in not "granular"... it supposed to be a mid 90's speedy.. Is this a relume? It glows under blue UV and fades after about 20sec.. thanks!
Looks fine to me. You can get a certain amount of shrinkage on the lume plots which might be what's giving you the impression of a relume.
I understand the concern. One would have thought after applying lume since 1957, by the ‘90’s they would have figured out how to accurately fill in the lines.
Though the lume's color looks fine, looking at those irregular edge the lume itself looks finished poorly, which does not meet Omega normal quality.
I believe it is original and the lume has “shrunk” and contracted a bit. That’s how it looks on my 3590.50
I know nothing about those and am therefore not opining on the initial question— but from a simple matter of aesthetics I kind of like this shrinkage. First of all I like the color contrast of the white lining underneath the lume. Also it gives a feel of craftsmanship, that it’s not all cold and controlled and mechanically machine made- a bit like those deliberate imperfections in some native American carpets.
