    Hey Mr. Peters,

Tell us more about yourself and the watch. Do you own it? Do you want to own it?

No reason to suspect it is not original but need to see movement and inside caseback pictures. Dial has some spotting from what is probably water damage. Need to make sure there isn't rust on the inside.

Please could you post clearer shots of the dial?
In particular the T Swiss Made T fonts.

    Sorry.

I want to purchase it, but i don´t know about maintenance or anything else. Only that the seller is the grandson of the original owner.

    I will post movement photos.

Yes this is an original Omega. It is hard to tell from your photos, but the watch may clean up quite a bit with cleaning the case and polishing the crystal. The watch has a very nice cal 750 or 752 movement.
It all boils down the the price.

Question: Would the spotting on the dial and what looks to be rust on the case around the crystal generally be indicative that it likely has some movement problems/concerns?

I don't see rust, just some stuff that looks like it is on and between the bezel and crystal. However until it is photographed with the movement removed or at least much better images it is hard to say much more.

    Tks a lot.

I said that the band is not original.

When compare my watch with the photo you post i see that mine is original, but the crystal or the seconds-hand not because i can´t see in my watch the omega logo in the center.

In a few days i will post photos of the movement.

Ha, you discover something new at OF every day. I always though that both the Omega Symbol and company name were applied with the rest of the text being printed on these Sparkle dial Seamasters. It looks like that is only applicable to the chronometer models, with the non-chronometers having a printed “OMEGA”.
    Is that right?
