I can see our "watchmaker" friend reaching into a bin of parts until he comes up with enough bits to piece together a movement....

(picture a happy little boy with a bucket of LEGO!)

What will it be today..... 500?......564?........30T2??..........Valjoux......ETA......Timex....... Oh, enough here for a 420ish looking movement.....

Hope the screw are all of a close enough thread, I hate when the heads break off and I have to glue them onto the movement to fill in the little holes.

Thank Vishnu for "Form-a-gasket" that stuff will stick anything in place.

Now..... what colour do we paint the face today...... time to smoke up a bit!

The watch looks to be all original, but the condition is pretty bad. All that discoloration on the dial means that water got inside the case at some point and stayed there.

At that price level you will be looking for a long time, at least for a men's watch. The ladies version are much less expensive in the collector's market.
