The crown is screw down like a super but the dial does not say super? Also, is it correct for the word "Date" to be in a smaller font? The movement is a 69.

Yes, almost certainly. In other words, a bad redial, and model is a Super.

I think a squirrel did that lettering. I think that should be worth at least negative 12 dollars.

I'd suggest it is time to slow down and start really thinking about trying to enjoy learning and examining things instead of rushing to buy things. Perhaps introduce yourself and set and avatar?

 

The "S" for these is very rare! It may take years to find one.

I appreciate your advice in the second paragraph and I will take it to heart. Slowing down is hard for me but it will save me a lot of headaches.

I'm quite certain this is an in-house prototype back when UG was considering ripping off the popular Constellation Pie-pan design. To prevent people's uncles from stealing them and giving them to their grand-children later, they omitted the "S" on purpose.

 

My feeling, the S is very overrated.
