Wouldn't draw any conclusions or buy anything from those photos unless it was and absolute steal and worth the risk. Also no movement photos
Always assume and price for the worst unless satisfied otherwise and that way you will avoid massive disappointment

Doesn't seem to be a redial but the surface of the dial (Laquer layer) seems to be damaged in several areas

With photos of that quality, getting a really good fake isn't your biggest worry. That will be getting a genuine one with serious dial damage that you cannot see on the photo.

Thanks for the feedback, this was genuinely an exercise for me (and hope for others to learn like me as well)

All the pie pans sell for $1000+ - even damaged ones go for $1000, good ones around $1500, great ones, I dunno

This one was close to $900 - so it could've been a risk to take, even though I didn't take it - I guess I'd rather pay ~$1200-1300 and try to catch a good one, always more logical
