I have a really nice Omega Geneve 601, I bought it from a collector in Japan as it was such a nice piece and came with this box, I have been going through a few watches in my collection and looking at the box I have never seen one before. Thanks all

Phew, I'm jealous, I bought like 20 watches from Japan, none of them came with a box 😁

Beautiful box, I don't know whether it's rare, but obviously it's valuable - at least $50 for the box I imagine?

Edit: This one time, one seller said he was the first owner of a watch, a 1968 Constellation, I hoped he'd somehow send it with original box papers, but nope, not only that, but the watch also had issues not advertised 😁

Worth even more to collectors who wear Corduroy pants. 🙄

too bad they didnt keep up with the craftmanship...
the red boxes are terrible (unless you like red flakes all over the place)

It is a lovely box, but I hesitate to add that I think that it is newer than the watch (just judging from the Omega symbol shapes).

I bought some of these boxes in the past. All came from Japan.

Is there a 'watch box' thread on the forum or is it worth starting one?
