Hi everyone. I'm new here, but have been a WUS member for a while. I own a vintage Geneve and a Constellation, but I was wondering about this one. The dial has a rather unique look to it. I don't think I've ever seen something like it in other pics. It has what looks like an original case. Thanks.
No idea if it is genuine or not but I really lie the font. If those numbers were applied it would be superb.
My only hesitation is the lume dots. But it may be the pics or the angle. We need more shots of the dial. At first brush it looks great. I have seen that dial many times. Weird number font, but authentic. At a glance it kind of appears like mine.
It's real, that dial style has been discussed before: https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-seamaster-cosmic-dial.30531/
Thanks everyone. I don't have a Seamaster Cosmic, so this caught my eye. I like that it's a bit unusual (to me, anyway). I took a chance and bought it over the weekend. I've been reading up on this site, WUS, the Desmond blog... trying to make sure I don't fall for an obvious / horrible redial or a franken. I'm learning, but I have more to learn. I'm pretty sure the Constellation I got is a franken (I think the case back is a mismatch, but it is pretty in a plain sort of way). The Geneve I'm pretty sure is good. This Cosmic seemed like it has the earmarks of being okay. I'll post better pics when I get it in hand.
