Hello! I'm a newbie and looking for a black seamaster with numbers, and found this! But something got me suspicious.. The reference number is 10025127, and there is no cal "stamp" anywhere. Is this a fake? http://www.ebay.com/itm/13074279990...:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1427.l2648#ht_11052wt_1180Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Well, the dial was refinished with "Seamaster" on it, but the movement is an Omega movement. Looking carefully under the balance wheel, you should see "28SC"
Thanks for quick reply! But even if you say under the balance wheel, i still can't find it! And how overpriced is it? It look very nice on the pictures, and i wanna have and cool vintage Omega! Is it a big mistake to buy it?
You need to hold in in your hands with a X10 loup to read 28SC . It's not a cool vintage Omega because it's not a Seamaster as it says on the dial (it's not waterproofed, either) the first Seamaster was made 3 or 4 years after this one. The 28SC movement is rare but still a big mistake to buy it at that price. Avoid !
