Is this 167.005 fake?

Hi guys,

I bought a used 167.005 case, and after the purchase I was told that it is a fake case. I am now starting to believe this might be true. Could someone please tell me if it is fake or not, and explain why?

167.005 should have dog leg lugs. I'm not sure these any longer qualify.

They're over polisched, but that doesnt make it an aftermarket case right?

Your caseback isn't like the fake one Desmond described, it's original IMO.

The polishing on the case-back and medallion looks to match the level of polishing on the case and lugs itself. Leading me to believe they are original to each other.
