IMG_4647.JPG Evening all .....hopefully I'll get some help from some friendly folk !
I have a seventies ( I believe ) model which I am bit puzzled with.
Why would it have been cut twice for the winder stem ?
I'm pretty sure all else is ok on the watch - 620 movement etc.
Wonder if anyone else has seen this before ?
    Thanks in advance.

A quick Google image search on "Omega 111.024" brings up a few more examples of this style of notched caseback, Can't tell you what it's for though, apart from I'm pretty sure it's not a botched attempt to fit an angled stem ;)

Probably there to accept an index on the edge of the movement placed there to prevent a round movement in a square case from turning? You’ll notice the notch is too high to allow access for a stem, and it doesn’t go all the way to the edge of the case.
