I still haven't turned to the dark side but most of my research efforts have been focused in this direction. Lots of information to review but fortunately many of you have already put in the research (thank you, BTW). Anyway, I am looking at a 105.012 66 with the CB case. The case is in great condition (you can clearly see all four facets) but the serial number of the movement is 245347XX. This is extremely early for a 66 and I've seen quite a few with serial numbers past this serial range in a 105.012 65. The serial number listing on Speedmaster101 gets me close but this 245347XX still falls outside of the 66 range. What gives? Is this a Seamaster movement? Should I stay away or are the Speedy serial number ranges still being assembled?

    Hello everyone.
Prior to the release of the 2nd edition, red cover, Moonwatch Only book, their website published updates in the form of pdf files. These were updates and corrections from the 1st edition. These included updated serial number ranges.

In particular a correction concerning the old 321 range for 1965 which was on page 284:
The update online gave the corrected range of serial as 2282 5xxx – 2453 7xxx instead of the old (top end of the) range 2452 7xxx.

Can anyone please confirm that the new edition of 'Moonwatch Only' includes this update? I already have the pdf file with the information. I am merely seeking confirmation that my information is correct and in harmony with the new book.

(If for some reason the sharing of this information from a copywrite publication is an issue please let me know and I will pursue the update by private inquiry.)
    Thankyou.

Thankyou so much for that @mr_yossarian !;)
That places the 24531XXX serial of my 321 movement and 105.012-65 case nicely in the correct range.
We've had the watch since the 1960's so I knew it was correct but this confirms it. Just need the Extract of Archives to arrive now.

I am going to the pub to celebrate... Cheers!
