The age old saying always applies: "It's worth whatever someone will pay for it". If there are folks willing to pay retail, it's worth that then, at least to them. Worth always winds up being a very personal question.

We can almost compare with f.e. Rolex GMT Master II (Batgirl - with Jubilee bracelet) Same Question… retail 11.800€ and ch24 nothing less than 16k€ … new unworn….I have tried to negociate few of them and… still do not have one. Is it worth to pay this price for It?
And maybe the Snoopy ´s delivery time is longer than Rolex.

Yeah, its a little funny that way. The SS GMT Masters are quite inflated. I ended up getting a good deal on a Batman & Pepsi, and like them both a ton! BUT I would not have paid market prices if I were to do it again (at least for the Batman). I just know that some day Omega is going to release a "I'm in true love!" speedy, and I'm going to end up needing to get rid of the Batman to justify it 😀

When the 45th Snoops was trading hands at $20K, I refused to pay the premium.. it just wasn't worth it.

Years later I paid $30K!

(If you like it, and can afford it... just buy it)

These are emotional items, you cannot expect strangers to be able to answer the question, "is it worth it?" You either buy it at a price that is acceptable to you, or you don't. No one can answer that question for you.

I’ll answer it. Don’t buy it, they look naff. Get one of the other LE’s or a standard Speedmaster and save thousands😉

As a form of shelter, the Snoopy is utterly useless. Maybe it’ll fend off a few drops of rain, but I doubt it.

It tastes terrible and supplies no meaningful nutrition. Perhaps some iron content in the steel, but with my digestive issues I should avoid ceramic and sapphire.

Flung with precision and force, it could be used to blind a foe or a charging animal, but it’s not a weapon of choice for the discerning warrior or hunter.

As a keeper of time, which is its avowed purpose, is notably less accurate than watches one can buy at the corner drug store for a few dollars.

Is it worth paying $80 usd less for this watch than someone making the federal minimum wage in America earns in a full year of 40-hour workweeks?

On another topic, there is a word of mouth from Rivoli Qatar - UAE that Snoopy is on the verge of getting discontinued soon (no new orders are being accepted) and that production is drying up in 2025 with very few deliveries, did any one hear anything similar? Or is it fake news.

I also tried to contact Omega online chat which they told me that the Snoopy is no longer avilable for purchase and current production to fulfilli existing wait lists.

There are objective differences that make it a higher end watch than standard moonwatch. Silver AG925 dial laser engraved, Ceramic blue bezel with enamel, and the case back. It is subjective if it is worth 15k, but to say it is equivalent features and build to a regular sapphire sandwich is ignoring facts.

There is about a $3k upcharge for Snoopy over the standard Speedmaster at retail. That seems pretty reasonable for a silver dial, ceramic bezel and the animation feature on the back. If you don't like the features, no problem, but it's hard to argue that Omega is overcharging for the watch. Omega isn't directly responsible for the extra $4k the market puts on the watch. Supply and demand.
