Good evening guys,

I'm from Paris and I just bought an Omega but the thing is, the one I got has a different dial than the one displayed on the Omega vintage website. The reference is: 191.0186 it's called the Omega De Ville Opera

Here are the pictures of the one I got

What do you think?

Hello and welcome! It's not uncommon for Omega to produce more than a few dial designs for the same case reference. A quick google search of the reference showed a few examples with the same dial design and hands. Others may know more about this specific reference but if it was me I would not be concerned with originality.

From those pictures the watch looks authentic. To be sure you will have to open the watch. Regards.

I'm usually not a fan of rectangular watches, but I really like this one. It looks like something a character from Die Hard could be wearing, which to me is awesome.

It's a De Ville Opera slimline and it looks authentic.

It's a quartz, right?

Oh great ! Thank you very much, I try to be very cautious and careful buy sometimes it can be tricky online. But having other people's opinion is always very helpful

Well, to be honest I was looking for a 511 0404 and I came across this absolute beauty, as soon as I saw it I loved it, yes it's a quartz one. Funny enough I don't really like the automatic ones because the quartz are more precise

Quartz are indeed easy to use, and usually sturdy, but if something happens they are goners, whereas handwind 620/625 ones are revivable sub $100 any day of the year
