·Hi Guys,
I'm a bit confused here (as usual). I picked up a gold Jedi the other day to play with and am anxiously awaiting its delivery. But while looking around for a new crystal I noticed people using both reference numbers 176.005 and 176.0005 for the same watch. All the ones I've seen on eBay that show the inside caseback say 176.005, so I just assumed the 176.0005 was a simple typo. But then I checked the Omega site (www.omegawatches.com) and they only have it listed as 176.0005, not 176.005. So are they wrong too??? One last piece to the puzzle is there's a listing on eBay for a hang tag for a Jedi (supposedly) and the number on the tag is 176.0005.........so maybe Omega has it right........and just stamped all their casebacks wrong! Really not sure what's going on here......Goggling both numbers show the same watch.........but why would the caseback stampings be different from the hang tag and what Omega is claiming? I'm going to go back and look on eBay to see if I can find a caseback stamped 176.0005 but figured you guys already solved this one many times over and could save me some time.
Oh, almost forgot.........I found the crystal part number, but not the gasket P/N. If someone could let me know what that number is I'd sure appreciate it........and save a lot more time!!
thanks,
bob
