I am considering this purchase however I thought that the logo, hands and markers seem off with the stainless steel? Do Omega actually have gold combination on steel? Secondly, is it just me or the logo a bit too low?

Thank you for your advice.

The logo is fine, the printing is too high.

Yes, gold figures/hands with a steel case is fine.

Please post photos so we don't have to click a link.

The print is too high, letters non as uniform and too thin. In addition, look at the line where the two tones meet. It's not uniform and has like smeared paint, most visible in the 6-8h region.

Yellow gold or white gold can be appropriate. Here's my aged '57 vintage 2852. It's the same age as I am only it ticks much better.

These Constellations are said to be fiendishly difficult to correctly redo. I've never seen evidence of a redone Pie Pan from this era that could fool.

The Ebay offering bears evidence of a re-dial.

Bad Fonts, spacing and marks...probably started out as a dome dial.
