·Hey watch enthusiasts,
I’ve got a bit of a mystery on my hands with my recent Omega Geneve purchase. The watch itself is stunning, but I noticed something curious. Its dial matches that of a 1970s Omega Stingray model. I’ve scoured the internet and haven’t found an identical Geneve with this dial nor even in old catalogues.
Now I’m wondering: is this an uncommon variation not shown in old catalogues? a custom job made by Omega? Or is it just a swapped dial with a stingray?
I’d love to hear if anyone has come across something similar or has insight into this overlap between models.
I leave some photos for reference (first one white background is the one I bought)
Any input or leads would be greatly appreciated!
