Is the blue dial 38mm Aqua Terra being discontinued?

As the title states, does anyone know if the blue dial 38mm Aqua Terra is being discontinued? My suspicion is that the new small seconds variant of the AT will be replacing the current 38mm lineup. But perhaps I'm wrong.

Along those lines, how does it come to be known that an Omega model is being discontinued? It seems the rumor mill runs overtime on Rolex discontinued models but I don't hear as much about Omega.
