Is the 2016 Speedmaster Moonphase Chronograph worth the money and will it hold its value over time?

I thought the back seat of a 911 was meant for her overnight bag and his shaving kit. Not offspring.

I used to drive around with a car seat in mine. lol

Year back my wife gave me the go ahead to buy a 911. Since our two boys were a bit big to fit in the rear seats, I opted to purchase the Cayenne S.

911 = Speedmaster 2998
Cayenne = Speedy Reduced 馃檨
I was offered a straight trade '78 930 (911 Turbo) for my e46 M3 a few years back.... i choose poorly. Then again I never wanted a 930 back then they where just to annoying to drive on the street. They also at the time where not much more expensive then non turbos

Not worth almost $11K to me. While the moon phase dial is cool, I don't like the date on a dial. I much prefer, even insist on, a date window at 6:00 or 3:00 on my watches. I don't collect 'em- I wear 'em. So they have to be useful before stylish.

That rear seat is just to drop your insurance rates a bit since it's a "four seater." At least Chevy does not blow smoke up your a&& by putting a 'rear' seat in the Corvette. Your whole shave kit will not fit in the Porsche rear seat, just an electric razor or a blade. LOL.

This really isn't true at all. Kids and dogs fit back there, and it also makes a nice storage shelf when folding the seats down. The prior Targa model, with the full glass roof and hatchback, was particularly useful. I could fit golf clubs in the back pretty easily.

What age were your kids at the time and how far did you drive? We sat in the back of a '72 pinto when I was a kid, actually me AND my two older brothers, it was HELL for an hour and a half ride! My two younger kids (10 and 12) can ride in my M2, but they finally began to see the beauty of my A8L that I had 13 to 15, but in a few years they no longer will be willing to ride back there! Just for comparison, I actually can get in the back see of the M2 and I'm huge. The 911 on the other hand has a tiny back seat.

It's actually easier to have a 5-10 year old back there, because their legs don't stick straight forward. Still, when we had the bulky car seat for our 18 month old back there, we still took road trips of several hours. lol A grade school kid or two in a 911 isn't too big of a deal.

This isn't my pic. Just a random one I found online, but to give you an idea:
