This is a story of an American family’s struggles and triumphs as well as an America’s (and all the other nationalities that were involved) struggle/race to the moon.
As a proud Canadian, I appreciate your sentiment, but it’s tough to rebrand the moon landing as anything other than an predominantly American achievement.... others no doubt contributed but NASA won the race for a reason.

I never used the word “rebrand” as you quoted nor was that my intent.
You’re correct on the rebrand bit - I guess why go down this road at all was my thesis?
As I noted above, I am simply acknowledging the fact that many nationalities contributed to this effort, that were all employed by NASA.
Why would we not acknowledge that people from many nationalities contributed? In particular if you doubt anyone would disagree with nor debate the idea of people of a variety of nationalities contributing to the moon landing project?
Reseach says he wore a 105.012 Professional which has an asymmetrical case.

Today’s Omega Trailer appears to show a straight lug 105.002 or 105.003 😲
27 second mark here
Is this not a straight lug case?? Pushers appear to match the 4.5mm size of a 105.003 and not the distinctive low fat 5mm 105.012 variety.

The fine folks at the OB in Atlanta told me that period correct watches from the Omega museum were used and that they fitted the watches to the actors for the movie. So, I'm going to guess the watches are legit and it's just the camera angles and such making it confusing at to the reference in use. Sadly, the Atlanta OB is hosting a watch party and I got invited but since I'll be out of town I can't go. 🙁
