It looks great on you and, to be honest, I wouldn't have said it was midsize.
Here's mine:
It looks a little small, thanks largely to the steel bezel which highlights rhe dial size. A black bezel variant with same size case would have appeared larger on wrist.
As for it it's too small? Not at all, I've always worn watches of all sizes, from 31mm to 44mm, have never worried about what size js right or wrong for current trends, I just enjoy mixing it up depending watch design.
Long way of saying it looks fine so just enjoy it
This debate pops up about once a year and the same tropes are trotted out every time.
Firstly 'Prince William has one so it must be fine'. Yes he does. He was gifted him when he was about 13 by his sainted mother. It looked good on him then, not so much now but understandably he wont be parted from it. He is also a Villa fan. Enough said.
Next, "I wear 33-35mm watches all the time and my grandfather stormed the Normandy beaches wearing one this size so if it was good enough for him" Yes true but his didn't have a massive bezel robbing about 10mm diameter of dial. A 36mm diver's watch has the same dial area as a 28-30mm regular watch which many (most) would consider a tad small these days for a bloke and about right for a lady. That's my main beef, not how it sits on the wrist which is just fine.
To reiterate though, the OP watch looks great and is not available in full size so I'd consider it even with my size prejudice. The dial here seems to be a darker shade than seen on either the electric blue 2255.80 or 2531.80 Bond. More like a slate blue-grey, more like the grey seen on some titanium LE models like the rare 2232.30 150th Anniversary LE. V nice indeed.
To each their own of course. There is no right or wrong in buying an Omega, well as long as it is genuine of course.
Make your hand smaller. I mean...if you love the watch.
You'd totally freak out wearing some of my vintage pieces, 36mm is quite large compared to some of them.
Here's a good example. This gargantuan beast I wore today measures a whopping 28mm, not including the crown.
see your lil watch and raise you a tiny moon watch
It looks good, about perfecly sized.
And as you say it makes your hands look bigger, you probably know the saying about nig hands. Nudge-nudge, wink-wink.

A mio modesto parere, sembra perfetto.
