Is my Seamaster genuine

Hi. I have just purchased a 2006 Seamaster on eBay. It came with box and , manual, spare links and pictogram cards. While discussing the watch with the owner they advised that the watch had had the battery changed, and it had been professionally polished. They also advised that the bezel insert had been changed to one obtained from the USA.
I have a number of observations and queries which I would appreciate any thoughts on please?:

1) The watch doesn’t feel very ‘weighty’ to me. It weighs 137g. Is this about right?
2) There is what looks like lume in the indicator triangle on the bezel but it has no lume on it (The rest of the watch indicators and markers are all bright once charged and remain bright for a long time)
3) Should the markers or text on the watch face be raised? I see in how to spot a fake that people talk of faces being painted but I’m not sure how to tell?
4) The watch has been passed by the eBay authentication service but I’m not sure what they actually check other than the watch matches the description. I’m guessing that the guys who check it won’t be removing the back as potentially would be risking the waterproofing of the watch. Any one know about the scheme?
Thanks in advance
Regards Rich

Pictures are not great, but the only thing that I see wrong is the bezel insert — but the seller indicated they replaced that with “one from the USA.” The insert is almost certainly aftermarket and would explain why the lume dot doesn’t work.

But the only way to know for sure is to take to a watchmaker who has experience with Omega quartz movements and have them take off the back and check the movement inside.

Pictures are not good and I strongly suspect that something it's not ok here. I suspect that the bezel was replaced because the known fakes watches had that big pearl which was evident a fake one. So waiting for better pictures..or of course opening the watch will solve the mystery faster.

Thank you. I think for my piece of mind I will get it checked out at my nearest Omega dealer who is not far from me. I guess that way I can ensure it is or isn’t genuine and also get it pressure checked (I assume)

I've confirmed that the serial number is correct for a 22645000. Your latest photos are better - watch looks fine to me.

Everything about the watch look right except the bezel insert which is fake. Unfortunately the cost to replace this with a correct bezel is over £200 for the part alone these days so if you factor that in you can figure out if it was that good a deal or not. It may be best to live with it as it is, other than the lume issue it looks very like a real one. The original selling dealer is still there, these days it is badged as an Omega Boutique, but is in fact still run by the same people.

Why didn't you go for an automatic instead?

Hi.

I have other mechanical watches and am quite happy with the convenience and accuracy of the quartz on this occasion
