Find a new one in the United States for under MSRP. You won’t.

Did I say I could get one below RRP? I was responding to your scarcity comment, what does it tell you if my AD in NL has an EW which isn't moving.

today in france, i can find modern 321 in second hand less than the retail price.... (15.9 keur instead of 16.9)
Second hand/Used is not new. €15.9k is just 6% less than new, that is a very strong second hand value. I'm not sure why people are trying to argue that demand for the 321 is going down because a couple are in dealer's stock in a few places. Some on the list may opt for the FOIS, that's natural, but they don't share much in common other than case size and bracelet design.

That may be so but at least my AD isn't copying the Rolex playbook when it comes to a 321, like it seems OB's in the US are doing.

And so - you aren’t getting a new Ed White for under MSRP.

It definitely is a great alternative - but - I don’t think it’s going to change the scarcity of the Ed White.
Let's see in 3-6 months if you are right. At present you sound like you are pumping like a boiler room junk bond salesman.

I own it and waited a long time to get it from a boutique. The idea that it’s readily available is just complete nonsense.

Might be readily available in the NL but it's still a long wait for US customers.
So it seems it's more profitable for Omega to sell them in Europe, no other reason I can think of why US has scarcity.

I've been to several Omega Boutiques. I've yet to see one available at any one of them.

Come visit us in Europe, and get yourself a 321 as a souvenir.
Maybe even a Snoopy, who knows...

Are these actually in stock so anyone can just walk in, whip out a CC and walk out with them on their wrist? Seems odd that the NL has dealers having them in stock but the rest of the world doesn't.

Yes, 2 AD's have them available for online purchase (1 is my local AD whom I talked to in person as I noticed it in their display), the other seems to be walk-in only where they state on their website there's 1 available.

who knows, I too waited a long time for my Snoopy but in 2024 they had it between 3 and 6 months

in any case what is certain for the 321 is that a few months ago it was difficult to get, but today not, everything is evolving and yes the second hand price depends on the ease of buying it new in store, so if in second hand they are worth as already said 6% less than retail, it is good that it is no longer difficult to have it in store

As an owner of 321, part of me (selfishly) would wish that the Ed White is still "hard to get". I have to face the reality though and agree with YY77 and Gael.BX's observations. I think it is much easier to get the Ed White now than say, 2 years ago. The release of the FOIS 2024 also doesn't help to cool down the 321 demand, as even though they are different watches, I can see many getting the FOIS and be content with not ever getting the 321.

In fact, when the FOIS 2024 announced I was like WTH? the FOIS 2024 also comes with the flat link WITH micro adjustments, and also the dome shaped crystal, which was supposedly unique to the 321?

It seems that the 321 is hardest to get in the US - not sure the reason why.

This all makes me wonder what is Omega's view/plan on the Ed White 321, especially given the release of FOIS 2024?
