    New to this forum.... and looking for my first omega..... and am considering this one..... is it real???

    Yes, it's an Omega. Movement is cal 601, serial no indicates c.1964 I think.

    Gold plated case shows considerable wear on the edge of the bezel and lug tips.

    I'd wait and find a better one.

    That m in omega does not look right on the dial....

    Yep that brassing would nibble away at me like a Garra rufa in a Thai pedicure.
