Is it fake?

Hi everyone,

I’d appreciate your input as seems to be a bit of a minefield out there.

Firstly, how reliable is Chrono24 for authenticity?

I’m looking at purchasing the attached but I have no idea how to detect if it is real or a fake.

Secondly, if not purchasing this watch I’m drawn to the denim Railmaster and wonder if anyone has this watch, and how they feel about it in comparison with the Planet Ocean?

I have the Railmaster, but haven’t handled the PO. Compare the size stats I suppose, the Railmaster is likely more wearable due to size, thickness and a more go anywhere look of the dial.

If you decide on the Railmaster buy it with the bracelet, as the watch’s all-brushed finish is hard to match with other bracelets. What I wish this Railmaster had: on the fly expansion bracelet, 38mm vs 40mm (for a closer to vintage vibe), drilled lug holes and maybe an exhibition case-back (but then it’d be thicker)

I do feel the Railmaster would be a more suitable day to day watch, and good point about the strap.

Seems like apples and oranges, OP. Do you want a full-on dive watch or everyday watch? If you like both of them, my guess is that you probably need both.

I’d be using as an everyday watch. I’ve been looking at the Railmaster for a while, and the PO popped up so started looking at them!

IMO as an everyday watch I think the Railmaster is a better choice, especially if you are wearing a dress shirt, etc. Like Dan said they are like comparing apples and oranges.

Thanks all, I’ll stop worrying about this one and look to get a Railmaster (as originally intended!).
