This is a puzzling release for me, and the rocket hand reminds me a bit of those Timexes sold on Hodinkee with “irreverent” seconds hands in bright colours.
But it is consistent with Omegas recent philosophy of upgrading movements / bracelet / whatever and charging 40-50% more.
Now sort of dreading a possible 2024 SMP 300 Diver “refresh.”

So I disagree with most of you but then I also think the silver dial Apollo XVII is a great watch and love Vegemite so different strokes for different folks.

··Senior Snoopy OwnerThe last real limited numbered release was the Tokyo 2020 Speedmaster series in 2018. Since then we've had the limited production Snoopy, and the small 321 line, which are refreshing but are hard to get, but other than that it's been a wasteland for Speedmaster fans. Omega is going for the new, never owned an Omega demographic customer. Pre 2020 is where the interest is now, at least for me.
Dont forget the Speedy Apollo 11 50th Anniversary watches in Moonshinegold and Steel, these were the last real limited editions - but you are right, these LE-heavy times had been more interesting.

Make enough variations and there is always one for everyone’s tastes.
This is just a basic modern up to the original with a few tweaks.
Members should be viewing it as a modern up instead of a new release they were hoping for.
(The Problem with Snoopy 3.0 there was more who wanted it then Omega was ever going or could make)
