Intriguing early 20C watches

I’ll start by saying that these are watches I’m not looking at buying myself, but I nevertheless thought that the forum might appreciate being brought to their attention.

Scrolling through the catalogue for an upcoming Bonhams auction, I came across these two watches (amongst a plethora of other Omegas, some in poor condition/obvious redials). Both appear in very good condition, with blued steel hands and the script seems correct. What sticks out to me is the absence of lume, from a time when many watches were slathered in radium. The estimates on both are low at around £500-1200 for both, but obviously these are merely that: estimates.

I wonder if they might be all original? I don’t know enough about earlier watches, but do have a vague understanding that porcelain used to be used for dials, in which case it seems logical to me that that might grant them more longevity.

Rather annoyingly there is only one photo of each, but I hope this might be enough to prompt discussion.

They look fine to me. These enamel dials are all usually original. They’re more likely to be cracked or chipped. Here’s mine.

That’s a beautiful watch. What year is it from?

1915. There are a number out there that don’t have radium.
