I just came across this review of a book written by a man from NYC who recounts a traumatic childhood while attending a school in Europe. Without getting political or too sentimental about it, I did find it interesting, if only because of the strong bond many boys (self included) have with their father's watch. Since it centers on a vintage Seamaster, I immediately thought of this forum.
