i came across this at my watchmaker’s today. I can’t find a reference in MWO, so was wondering if any forum members have ever come across it before. The case had no LE markings, and the dial was a typical step dial from 70/71.

Isn't this from an Apollo 11 anniversary from a few years back? What's it doing with a step dial?

Weird that it had a step dial. I didn’t take any other pictures, but it did have a step dial and what I think are Mkll hands. I’m thinking it might be an older reference with the Apollo 11 caseback.
    An oddity...

Just looked up the case back...

"Information: Numbered component, return the item"

Only available on exchange. Possible that in the past they were just sold without the exchange I suppose...

It looks like this example is a ‘70/71 Speedy with an aftermarket caseback and the wrong hands.
