Apologize if this was already covered. It looks like it’s being sold by Matthew Bain in Florida. The case looks umm interesting....

I’d take the classification as very rare with a fair amount of salt...

Seems to consist of original parts. Perhaps except for the chrono hand as the seller already hints upon. Given the high serial number for a 145.012-67, the Barton hand style could be correct, but I do think it’s suspiciously whiter compared to the other hands.

The case looks (quite nicely) polished and re-brushed to me.

True. Lume looks in very decent condition too. Certainly not an unattractive dial in my opinion.

The dial is very attractive IMO, and the listing notes that the case has been polished and the sweep hand replaced. Seems fairly accurate for once.

It is being sold without any reserve so the buyers will ultimately decide what’s its worth. The bezel seems to be in abnormally good condition. I’m not a fan of the heavy radial polishing on the back case but to each their own

I find the dial very attractive and wouldn't be bothered by the replacement chrono hand that much. Original crown is a nice bonus. The overpolished caseback however is more of a turn-off for me. I'm guessing it will end at around $6k

Yes, I'm probably a bit low. Will be watching with interest. It is a beautiful watch and I'm sure a lot of people feel the same.

Ended at $6,366.00. Great buy imo just considering bezel and dial (it wasn't me).

Agree! If this would have been in the EU, I would probably have joined in on the bidding. Good deal for the buyer! Hope an OF member snagged it.
