A question for UK members please: for insuring your watch collection do you use your home insurance policy or a specialist watch insurance company? If the latter could you please recommend such a special insurance company operating in the UK?
Thanks.

Was probably a pointless question :whipped:. Have added my watch as a valuable item to my home insurance policy. As long as i have recent and valid evaluation document to support any claims.

Just make sure you understand what the insurance company's idea of 'recent and valid evaluation document' means. You don't want to be left out in the cold if you would ever have to make a claim.

Thanks. Their terms and conditions ask for an evaluation no older than 3 years.

Home policies are generally replace not value… so a vintage Speedmaster would be replaced with a modern on or equivalent money.
