Can anyone confirm this constellation pie pan checks out and what a fair price would be for it? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Omega-Const...477486431?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item3a8d39eb5fPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Thanks!
Thank you. I am always amazed at how quickly you and other members are able to sort out the good vs bad...I've got a long road ahead of me .
Mickey got one these, even more desired RG capped, for a little less from a most respected Forum member. Most always best to buy from one of the "Crew"!
Dial looks original to me. A nice, honest 2652 with wear on the case but generally pretty good. Medallion is intact and money is in the ballpark. Clover leaf crown is not original for this early production (1952) model. Second sweep is wrong, but that's no biggie. Cheers Desmond
Watch itself is not at all bad, as Desmond points out. Only issue I have is the price. At that level, you have no room to replace worn parts or give it a cleaning if required. Seller is asking full retail price for a "barn find" condition watch. Need to shave some bucks off and you'll have a real nice watch. gatorcpa
Same as above, and agree with Desmond about the second ssweep. If you make an offer that leaves room for a service (just incase it hasn't been..) I say go for it! It's nice early connie with textured dial.
