Inherited watch with Omega logo, but no text

I have inherited this watch from my great grandma, believe it's from the 40s-50s. I'm not sure if its authentic, it doesn't have any lettering on it, simply the logo, and the watch is smooth on the back. The strap is definitely not the original btw. I know nothing about watches or Omega watches, so hoping someone might be able to shed some light.

Looks like an authentic ladies vintage cocktail watch but with a refinished dial which is why the text is missing

I was thinking that someone tried to clean it, and did too good a job.

Yes, I've just taken it into a jewellers and they confirmed it's real. Not sure if it has any value other than sentimental, but at least I know it's the real deal. It's tiny, so I won't be wearing it though.

IF it helps, even if it wasn't a re-dial, it probably had very little value other than sentimental. Its a cute little watch that could be a nice thing to wear to fancy-ish events in her memory.
