Hi All, I currently have a one watch collection - My Speedmaster that I’ve worn every day for almost 4 years. My grandmother sadly passed away recently and she left me a modest sum of money. As opposed to just adding in to the bank account and having it spent on every day life, I’d rather buy something with it, something I’ll always have. So.. with a £1,000 budget, what should I buy? My first thought was a Hamilton, but a local watch maker in Northern Ireland, Nomadic, has caught my attention - see below.. https://nomadicwatches.com/ I like the idea of supporting local and supporting a microbrand. Thoughts, opinions and suggestions are all welcome! Thanks Pete
Commiserations on your loss. I think a watch is a great way to remember you Grandfather Take a look at this thread. It might give you some ideas https://omegaforums.net/threads/micro-independent-brand-sub-5k-corner.153364/
