Hello, I recently inherited my fathers 1949 Omega cosmos watch which is now looking its age. (photo enclosed) I also came across another Omega seamaster with the face of a Saudi King on the top face. I would really like to have the cosmos serviced / cleaned for my own use with hopefully the sale of the Saudi watch to pay for this service. The advise I seek is a guide in what each watch is worth on the second hand market plus servicing cleaning cost of the cosmic. More photos can be supplied. Thank you.
Welcome. Someone who is familiar with these models from a value perspective will be along shortly. Just wanted to say I'm a Budgie fan...not the birds, but the band. Cheers, Al
Does look like an Ibn Saud dial but very patinated, the case is a bit strange, wondering if it originally had an 18K gold case that was melted down and the movement/dial was moved to some other gold-plate case
