Hello,

I have an Omega watch which I have had for some time. It was bought for my father by my mother in 1979 (she thinks). She says that at the time it was a limited edition and she paid around £450 for it. The whole thing seems to be silver. I have tried to find further information about it but i cannot find anything like it. The historical section on the Omega website doesn't have it listed. There is a female watch on there similar but not with the two-tone face, and it is manual whereas mine is automatic.

The strap has separated but the pins are still there and there are tiny cracks on the face but apart from that it seems in good condition. I'm wondering if anybody knows anything about this watch and its possible value or the cost to restore. I have attached some photos below.

Its a quadrant dial & there were a few variations of these in the late 70's. As it says automatic on the dial it should be a mechanical movement. I'd need to check on what movement is probably in there though.

As for value, these aren't very sought after but they can be fine useable watches. Typically I'd expect it to be worth around £400 today, so more or less what it originally cost (apart from inflationin in the intervening decades !).

This is the best I could do with my iphone camera! I'll try and post a clearer photo later.

Can you tell us the movement number and calibre, also the reference number inside the caseback. The picture is too fuzzy.
