if anyone could give me info/worth of this 1960’ seamaster, it was in a safety deposit box for awhile, looks like it was never worn but i don’t know much, thanks
Nice example. Take note of the buckle, fellow OF members, when trying to source a buckle for a late 50's early 60's seamaster . Can we get a picture of the underside of the buckle? Nice watch.
It’s a beautiful watch. The 17xx indicates it is a 1960. A photo of the movement would be of help to you here, especially with those more knowledgeable and experienced than I. As for the price, you will have to do some research. Folks here aren’t always keen to dispense selling prices. What I can tell you is I’ve been hunting for a very similar watch and have seen them priced all over the place. This one, if truly NOS, is likely more valuable than your usual eBay offering. 591, from what I know, was Omega’s attempt to offer a decently priced automatic movement. I’m sure someone will chime in with more info shortly.
