Looking to get one Speedmaster serviced (running slow) and maybe get another Speedmaster's dial touched up/replaced

Prefer not to ship $8k+ of watches back and forth, particularly just to get a quote on the latter.

Thanks

Shami Fine Watchmaking in Fairfield, NJ is pretty good, though I remember the wait after dropoff was a bit longer than I had liked. I suppose that's the price you pay for them being thorough.

They have an Omega parts account so you should be able to get anything (within reason) you need.

Just speculating here.... I know you are looking for an independent to service it but if it came down to no other options could one drop a watch off at the service center in Secaucus or does it have to get mailed there? Seems silly to mail it to a place when you live close to drop it off.

I live in Maryland but my adult daughter lives in Manhattan. She has dropped of two non working Tag Heuers for me to Manhattan Time Service. Her friend had told her to go there. One watch had a broken stem, the other a problem with the quartz movement. Excellent service, fair prices, many outstanding reviews. Very pleased.

Both repairs have been perfect. I've never taken my Omegas there but would not hesitate to do so . . . check them out online. I hope they have survived the pandemic.

Good luck.
