16014 blue dial raised step baton markers. Very beautiful these blue dials change so much in different lights from a deep matte black to purple to blue just crazy cool. Changes as much as the smp300 thought opinions requests dedications ha.

Fun watch, I've got a similar piece, but as a 16000 with a plain bezel and luminous hands/dial. Try taking some photos in natural light.

My buddy has a blue linen dial DJ circa 71. Love those blues.

I love how the blue changes to so many different shades damn near black at times . I have some original hands with lume. When it was serviced they changed the hands out to the ones you see. I don’t mind that much as my smp300 has enough lume for both of them. I had the crystal polished yesterday and it made a huuuuge difference.

I really like the oyster bracelet on older djs. The seller said they will swap for me if I send in the jubilee. I have an aftermarket super jubilee with SEL THAT DOES FIT on this one so Im highly considering making the change

I think the jubilee is more authentic, but I like the oyster also; it makes the watch feel a bit sportier.

What year is yours. I can see the tritium burns. My dial was repainted. All original pieces and they did a absolutely flawless job.

Mine is 1979, if I recall correctly. The blue dials are especially prone to damage, as you know.

Beautiful, and case seems not over-polished, which sadly is an exception for these DJs.
