Just picked this up from an auction site in Japan. I've been wanting one of these since I missed out on the eBay auction where @dragoman picked up his Railtrack. I wasn't sure what to expect, but many of the watches on the site looked to be in great condition. The condition of my new watch far exceeds what I was expecting. It looks to be virtually new condition for a watch that is over 50-years-old.

 

Because it is a redial!

Don’t know if the movement and caseback are good, but if so, you just need the right dial and crown

And fyi, no issues to WEAR it, looks fine, just not original. Hope seller disclosed but doesnt seem you knew?

 

It was certainly less than what it goes for on eBay, but still probably to much.

 

I’m assuming that you bought it to wear so just think of it along the lines of having had your dream car refurbished and re-sprayed. You'll get a lot of pleasure from wearing it.

FWIW, I now see that "ATIC" is a dead giveaway and there are a couple of problems in "Constellation"
