    ok... a Potential incoming....

hopefully before the end of next week...

It was unexpected and involves a trade so hopefully the logistics work out for me..

But it will involve one less Rolex...

will be saying goodbye to this one....

I barely got to know it, but honestly...I could never tell what time it was when I looked at the dial...

Hopefully the consensus will be that I made a good trade...

(Which is why I came here, and not TheRolexForum)...

    Stay tuned...

    feel free to speculate...

    hints may come...

Really, hmm, so what would the brand be under "Modern Omega Watches"? ;)

Judging by the watch you just got rid of, my guess of the new incoming is the GSOTM.

Sorry if I missed it, but I'm guessing SM300, Titanium with blue dial.

I don't know what it is yet, but I already know it was a good trade if its a top shelf Omega for that Rolex ;)

but, also... not giving me much credit on the trade....

Hint... #1. I had to kick in a small collection of pesos in the trade...

Is there PT950 involved here? Along with a 600M depth rating?

Having 2 of anything is never bad.

Ok, I'll play!! (but will admit I'm stumped to begin with). So I 100% applaud the trade of the YM 2, I'm just not a fan of that piece. Given what they are worth, and that you had to add some $$, I have a ballpark figure you are trading for here; and this is what really stumps me... no question we are talking about a very serious Omega. Watches like DSOTM, SM300 modern, etc. are out based on the values not matching up. Vintage doesn't seem to be in your wheel house, so I'm saying its not a vintage piece (and if it was, it would be museum quality), plus the subforum is a giveaway. So, next on list is dress watch, definitely in your wheel house, but I'm struggling to come up with a match, the De Ville Tresor Master Co-Axial was a thought but the numbers don't work. I'm going back to the interwebs to think about this some more....

Edit: ok, I hate to follow the crowd, but I'm going to have to jump on the bandwagon...PO in Pt950 with blaze orange ceramic!

If it is an omega it has to be a precious metal. Platinum PO Orange would fit.

How about sedna gold sm300 master co-axial

The latter is a good guess as well.

The Sedna Gold SM300 was my other guess too, I think we can be fairly certain there's some precious metal involved regardless but those two would be the lead contenders... That Sedna Gold SM300 is an absolute thing of beauty too, superbly pretty watch.

That YMII is an offense to the eyes...glad to see you getting rid of it. Not sure if it spread but one forum dubbed it the "Clownmaster" when it first was announced...

Technically innovative, but ugly as hell.

Look forward to seeing what replaces it - note that I don't play the guessing games, so I won't guess, I'll just wait until you post it.

    Cheers, Al

I agree Al, that timepiece does not sit well to the eye. WAY too much going on IMHO.
