Didn’t intend to buy this but when I saw it in the display case I was sold.

The watch was nicely discounted, approx 20% below RRP, and the AD threw in a couple of Omega pens.

Love the brushed case and overall look, the dial changes colour and shines beautifully in sunlight. I’ll post some wrist shots in due course.

This gives me a nice trilogy of Omega’s, Seamaster, Speedmaster and now Railmaster.

That brushed case is awesome

I have to be honest that is one of the main appealing points of the watch, it just looks so good with a fully brushed finish. The SA showed me the 60th (?) Anniversary version which they had in stock, it appeared/was smaller in look and with the polished bezel/case and bracelet it didn’t look as good as this beauty in my eyes. Apologies to those with the 60th watch.

I think that this is going to get a lot of wrist time.

Is that strap as comfortable as it looks?

It is stiff at the moment but I expect it to soften with a bit of wear. It is a cloth upper with a calfskin layer underneath.

I am going to look at a distressed tan coloured strap as an aftermarket purchase as my thoughts are that this may work on the watch rather nicely.

I bought that strap for my Globemaster, and it wore in beautifully, and looked awesome on that watch.

Congrats OP!

Congratulations on the new purchase.

this was my first Omega its such a gorgeous watch and the brushed finish also was so appealing. The dial feels rustic and its shaded colour variation brings subtle depth. Very underrated piece.
