    Hi All,

Introduced myself yesterday after getting the go ahead from other forum members that £3700 for a sapphire sandwich was a good price. I picked this up from an AD who I have a very good relationship with. Opened the box and absolutely love it. I've already put it on a NATO. I do however, have a question... It's my first manual wind watch and I've wound it however, it doesn't stop I just feel a slight bit of resistance (if I'm turning the crown clockwise it will actually turn back anti clockwise a tiny bit but I can still keep turning clockwise) is the crown meant to stop winding completely to indicate a full power reserve?

Wind till you can't wind no more, you'll know it when it happens.

Another small detail to consider. These watches have different spring bar lengths for bracelets compared to NATO straps. The replacement bars supplied should be used for the NATO (they should be nominally longer than those used with the bracelet).

    Well done by the way!

When you go back to the bracelet, make sure to use those bars as fitting with the slightly longer bars is either impossible, or very difficult.
