Had a recent backlog of watches not being delivered or incurring long customs delays...

A few of the watches in question came through today...

Two may stay, one may go...?

First up is a textured gold cap Connie 2852-5 with a cal 505. Dial has a charcoal patina, which I'm thinking may clean up, but I'm not sure I will touch it, yet.

Next up is a 2852-5 Cal 501 which I think may be hitting the chopping board. Still undecided..

Finally. A Seamaster Cal 552 14761-1 with unusual pillow type dial. Had to have this for the dial, now thinking on strap options.

Anyway, going to enjoy wearing them and see what happens. May put one up for sale in the near future...who knows!

Thanks Mazen! Wasn't sure about the case on the Seamaster, mainly bought for the dial, but the case really is very sharp! We have both done well, I especially like your new Seamaster Chronométre! Bet you can't wait to see it! ;)

Very nice and leave the 2-tone dial alone, IMO--looks great.
    Enjoy,
    T.

Thanks! I think you're right...it gets tricky and that's it's natural age so I think I will leave well alone...
    Best,

Agreed - don't try to clean that two tone dial.

I think they called the Seamaster dial a wave, as in the Geneva waves found on some plates & bridges on a movement.

I can't believe that nobody has claimed dibs on the wave dial yet, so I will. It needs to move south of the Thames.;)

Nice additions. I think the dial on the third one is called ribbon dial!

Thanks. I've heard 'wave' and 'pillow', but 'Ribbon' is a new one on me! Thanks for the info! :)
