All right, while we're waiting for the follow-up photos, here's another. Just when I was bemoaning the fact that I'd been out-Ashleyed on something I had fully expected to scoop up, the watch gods brought me something special. Bill Sohne, please give someone else a chance. 😉

I'd be interested to learn if that subdial pattern originated with Rolex and was cribbed by other watchmakers, or whether Rolex pinched it from someplace else.

Good question. I think it shows up only on Singer dials. Maybe it was an option that Singer offered.
