Incoming RGM custom watch

Hi all-very excited that my new custom RGM with a Val 72 NOS and enamel dial has arrived.
This is my 2nd watch made by them.
The dial is based on an old vetta (albeit Val 22) with some other minor design differences (and additional counter)

I decided to do a custom job based on that I couldn’t find what I wanted -37-40mm chrono with NO date (in my price range anyway). Also a slimmer profile that would allow me to wear it under a shirt sleeve. PLUS I had input on the dial design to my liking.

I’d consider vintage but the vetta you see pictured was going for 10k. And it was in an un-named country of dubious origins for fake watches.
With acrylic crystals-most vintage I see them scratched or just outright too expensive IMHO for condition of the watch. Or a fraud or not all original parts.
This project was not inexpensive either but at least I know the dial will last a long time (assuming I don’t drop it) and the hands are real blue steeled.

Think it turned out really nice indeed…
Def happy with it. My only issue is that I think my eyesight is catching up with age and can’t clearly read the tachymeter!!

Very very nice. Now I suppose I have to ask him again if he has an extra dial 😗. I like the stepped case as well. Is this the same as the new chronograph?

You mean the movement-yes, it’s from the same chrono. It’s an open display case. I’d be really surprised if he had made another dial this time but ya never know. Also note that this watch necessitated custom hands that tacked on unexpected cost -def added up!
