Love this watch. Just stunning. Pics don't do it justice. My first Omega and I couldn't be happier 96535616_10221692402596048_2169592236969295872_n.jpg

I know I can say this in the Omega groups and not get bashed but in comparison to a submariner I feel you get a lot more of a watch for the price. I know this is an 8500 (I have an 8500 titanium which I wear daily) but MSRP for PO8900 is $6550 as opposed to a 116610 at $8550.

Hey, I've been saying it over at the Rolex forum for a couple weeks now haha. Totally agree with you.

Just bought my first Omega last week as well.

Also a 8500 PO. Cracking watch and fits in nicely with your collection.

At TRF? They must have at least killed you for saying that. I totally agree with you.

Ha, yeah, there's definitely a few fanboys there who lose their minds at any comparison with the Sub. I own a Sub myself, but this Omega is incredible, and the value compared to the Sub is crazy good if you're being rational about it.

I have the Titanium PO 8500 with liquid metal and that one retail was 8500 same price as a submariner. And with that I get titanium which Rolex doesnt even make a watch with. Wanted something lighter for everyday.

I own a 116710 GMT and this gets way more wrist time. And can't touch a sport Rolex with blue for under $12500 and that's a 2 tone.

I think you can also say the opposite and you wont get bashed.

Beauty! And now the fun starts with getting to add various rubber and NATO strap combos.

I have a few 8500's and I must say while the bracelet is fantastic (especially after you add the adjustable clasp), the rubber strap totally changes up the look, feel, and wearability of it.

Enjoy!
