I always meant it to be the last watch one is on the hunt for.
It doesn't necessarily have to be a grail piece, but one that totally rounds out a collection as the last piece of a puzzle.

Of course that may be an illusion, or a delusion:thumbsdown:
    Individual circumstances will vary;)
But I think I've worked out what my exit piece is:thumbsup:

To be honest, this is my last luxury watch purchase for a LONG time. This piece is sort of the epitamy of my collecting of Omega's.

That indeed is the Canopus 3861 Speedy, and it has white gold hands. Congrats! So much better in person than photos can capture.

I agree. OP will realize that the gold Speedy collection needs to be rounded out with the sedna gold and moonshine gold Apollo 11. Once those 2 are obtained then there's only the platinum 321 left standing.

Congrats, @david5807. I understand what you're thinking. I went with the Sedna. It just hit me that I had more watches than I could wear so why not have a few really nice ones I wear all the time? Unfortunately, while that is true, I have already been looking at other gold watches ::shy::

If this is your exit watch, can't imagine you would have any regrets.
