I've been after a dress 2 register chrono for a while now. The hunt goes into high gear whenever @dsio pulls out his Omega cal 320. But I hadn't seen the Zenith 146DP until @Mick Tock pulled out his. So, here is mine. Albeit 35mm, not 37mm. I'm pretty happy with the edges on the lugs and bezel.
Solid choice, get the Cal 320 as well then you'll have options when you're in a two-register chrono mood. I might have to look into one of those Zeniths.
That case is remarkably nice and sharp, its clear from the facets on the lugs its not seen a polishing wheel
There are a few around, but mostly their dials have degraded quite a bit: http://forums.timezone.com/index.php?t=tree&goto=7015109&rid=0#msg_7015109 http://forums.timezone.com/index.php?t=tree&goto=7015106&rid=0#msg_7015106 Is it the case that square pushers ALWAYS less waterproof? or was that just a flaw with Omega?
So THAT'S why there's been an exodus of timepieces out of Cambra lately! Very nice TRC, I'm grumpy with envy.
And I have 2 more pieces on the way.... I think that will make 6 or 7 new watches in the last 2 months.......
In the end there will be more, but there has also been some interesting changes in focus. Both narrowing and broadening. Bought my first 2 Zeniths, my first Enicar, my first Tudor, etc. Will do a separate thread.
Outrageous price, but looks in good condition http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=251936725102Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
