Will be interesting to research the history on this one. Came from Annapolis, Maryland, so wonder if there could be a military connection. No back markings though.

Me too . I had to buy it blind so I’m hoping everything is relatively OK on the inside. Apart from the hairline cracks on the dial it does seem to have been kept in reasonable condition, so I’m hoping there’s nothing catastrophically wrong with the movement. I’ll add photos and a copy of the extract info when it arrives.
When I see specimens like this I get the jones to dig into pocket watches. Just lovely. In the hands of the right watchmaker will clean up well.
Very nice. A rattrapante chrono is one of the most difficult movements to service and adjust. Hopefully yours will be in reasonable working order.
