    i just purchased a 2351.80. My question is does the case number match the serial number. In other words are they supposed to be the same. Also how does this look to you guys

    I put the nato strap on the watch came with original ss band.

    First, the case number and serial numbers are different. The case number is the same for all the watches with that same model, the serial numbers are unique. The number on the movement should match the one on the cards (if it came with them).

    Second, what the heck is up with that movement pic! There should be a metal ring around the movement that is screwed into it. See those two empty screw holes? It looks like the pieces of the ring that screw to the movement are laying on your case back, so where is the ring? If that is how the watch came to you, it ain’t right.

    The number on the lug is the serial number is 801££915, obviously I blanked two digits. The same number is engraved on the movement itself.

    Correct then lug should match movement.

    I normally hate leather straps on these but yours looks great!

    ( yes I know I have a very similar strap on one of my divers too)

    Thank you, I purchased on eBay from a seller in Spain. They are completely handmade and he uses wax thread. He can also emboss the logo of your choice, the stripe you see happened when fitting to my dj 116234 and I’m really glad because I think it made the strap look a lot better hehe. I’ll post a link if I can.
